If you want to get involved at Mosaic Church, Launchpad is your next step.
Launchpad is helpful both for new Christians who have never been a part of a church community and for Christians deciding if Mosaic will become their home church. It is also a great place for people to ask any questions about why we do what we do! It is split into three sections that cover our vision, our values and how you can get involved. You’ll get to meet the leaders of the church as well as other people thinking about joining the church. Find out when the next Launchpad is taking place here.

Invest in the vision
As a church we believe that God has called us to join His mission through building community and making disciples. We do that as we love God, each other, the city, the underprivileged and the nations of the world. We would love all those who are part of Mosaic to invest in this vision in their everyday lives.

Invest your talents
The local church matters. It is the centre piece for God’s plan to extend His kingdom on earth. There are fantastic pictures in scripture to describe a church where people invest their talents: Christians are described as members of His body, like arms and legs, with Jesus as the head (Ephesians 5:23, 1 Cor 12:12); as members of God’s family or household, as Jesus’ brothers (Hebrews 2:11); and as living stones which form His temple, where God dwells by His Spirit [1 Peter 2:5, Ephesians 2:22].
We ask those who call Mosaic their home to invest their talents in some way to serve the church community. There are so many opportunities to use your gifts in Mosaic. Here are some of the main teams you can be involved with:

Don’t let this list limit you though – if you have a gift not covered here (plumbing, cleaning, art…), we would love you to use it to serve the church!

Invest your resources
We want to follow the example of Jesus in all areas of our lives. Jesus invested everything as he laid down his life for the church, and in the same way we want to invest what we have in order to build and strengthen the church. For many of us this means investing our time in different areas of church life.
This also means investing our finances. The Bible has a lot to say about the way we handle money. We give simply because Jesus calls us to give. It’s a basic part of being a Christian and being committed to a local church. The starting point is normally a tenth of our income - this is known as a ‘tithe’. The Bible lays down some helpful guidelines (e.g. 1 Corinthians 16 and 2 Corinthians 9):
- Freely – cheerfully and not under compulsion
- Regularly – each week or month
- Proportionally – according to your income
- Locally – our primary commitment is to the local church
- Sacrificially – trusting God to supply all our needs
