We’ve realised at Mosaic that the only way we will be faithful to God’s mission is to build a strong, welcoming and connected community. However the larger we grow, the harder it is to make friends, meet people and communicate with everyone we’d like to. What we need is a quicker, more intelligent, and easier way of staying connected. So the answer is an online community-building tool called ‘The City’.
What is the City?
The City is Mosaic’s own online network. Its purpose is to enhance real life community within the church: to connect people more easily, to communicate more effectively and to build stronger community. Mission Groups can use The City to organise gatherings and share prayer requests, our serving teams can organise themselves on The City, and The City provides a great way for new people in Mosaic to get connected and find out what’s going on in the life of the church.
Who is The City for?
The City is for everyone who wants to connect with others at Mosaic and keep up-to-date what’s going on in the life of the church. Newcomers to Mosaic can use The City to find others in the church with shared interests or to find contact details for their nearest Mission Group. Lastly, Mosaic's office staff use The City to contact specific groups within the church and to keep up-to-date with everyone's contact details.
