new building in beeston

information and donations

Mosaic Church Ltd was planted in Leeds 20 years ago with a vision to see God  transform lives locally and globally. Throughout this time, we have rented  spaces on Sundays with the hope of eventually owning our own buildings as  footprints in the local community.

With the launch of Mosaic South gathering in 2013, Mosaic became a  multisite church, and since then we have been continuing to rent space on  Sundays for worship, as well as other spaces throughout the week to host  the projects that we run.

In 2017, the Methodist building on Wesley Street in Beeston came on to the  market, and God had already been laying this old church building on our  hearts. We bid at auction, but were unfortunately outbid by a developer.  Then at the 2018 Catalyst Festival, David Devenish prophesied that churches  would receive keys to buildings, and we felt faith rising again that God would  work to enable this to eventually happen.

In 2025, seven years later, and after much prayer, an opportunity arose again  to purchase the Wesley Street building, and this time we were successful. The  work now begins to restore and transform it for God’s kingdom purposes!

The purchase of the Wesley Street building is a tremendous answer to prayer, and we are celebrating God’s faithfulness to us.

But now the work begins! We recognise that this building project represents a significant  opportunity for us to leave a long term legacy, but also carries a cost.  We are trusting that God will abundantly provide everything needed for the  work that He is calling us to as a church.

If you would like to donate to the building project, any amount large or small will be gratefully received. Please just click the button above or below and thank you for being part of a lasting legacy for Beeston community and beyond.
