DAY 3: giving thanks for his provision

1.BIBLE READING

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

2. LISTEN/WORSHIP

3. RE-READ THE SCRIPTURE

Read again - Psalm 23:1-3

4. REFLECT & ACT

God is our Shepherd. He knows what we need and promises to provide for us. Gratitude shifts our attention from what we don't have to recognising the ways God has faithfully provided.  The testimony of the Psalmist is that they lack nothing because the Lord is their shepherd who leads and guides them towards refreshment and the right paths.

ACTION
Make a list of five ways God has provided for you materially, relationally, spiritually or emotionally.
