mo:kids at North Central

We welcome children with additional needs in all of our groups. If you are coming with a child with additional needs please speak to our team leaders about how we can best support you and your child. If you’d like to talk it through with us before coming please email kids@mosaic-church.org.uk

We are committed to safeguarding the emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing of all the children at Mosaic. All our volunteers are DBS-checked and trained. Our safeguarding policy is available here. If you have any safeguarding concerns, our Safeguarding Recording Form can be found here.

ON SundayS

Mosaic is a family that our kids are an essential part of and we believe that God desires a relationship with even the youngest of us (John 7:37-38). We are passionate about seeing our kids grow in understanding and relationship with Jesus in a safe, fun, and loving environment.

We believe that parents/carers are the primary disciplers of their children (Deuteronomy 6:6-7) and so we encourage families to seek God together through our times of family worship, all age services and parent/carers serving on the kids group teams.

Mo:Babies (age 0-1) You're very welcome to sit with and bottle or breastfeed your under one in the service. In addition to seating, there is space to stand at the back if you want to. There is also an area just outside of the main hall for bottle or breastfeeding with nappy changing facilities, a speaker with audio from the service, play mats and toys for parents/carers to stay with their baby if you prefer.

Mo:Minis (age 1-2) provides a safe and loving environment for our toddlers to encounter God through play and simple truths from the Bible. A typical Mo:Minis session includes free play, singing, Bible stories, prayer, snacks and games.

Mo:Kiddies (3-4 year olds) provides a safe and loving environment for our preschool children to encounter God through play and simple truths from the Bible. A typical Mo:Kiddies session includes free play and activities, Bible stories, prayer, singing and games.

Mo:Kids (5-11 year olds, reception-Y6) is a space for our primary aged kids to dig deeper into faith and explore more of their relationship with Jesus. A typical Mo:Kids session includes teaching from the Bible, prayer, worship, games, small group discussions, journaling, and exploring the teaching through play activities.

Mo:Kids Juniors (Y4-Y6) is a space for our older primary aged kids to gather once/month and have the opportunity to dig deeper into faith and the Bible, consider their own views and have space to ask questions and explore faith. A typical Mo:Kids Juniors session involves games, snacks, reading the Bible together, prayer and activities to help reflect/engage with the Bible teaching.

DURING THE WEEK

Mo:Tots (0-4 year-olds) The Mo:Tots community is for parents/carers of 0-4 year-olds (babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers). During the week, we have three Mo:Tots Mission Groups running (each on a fortnightly basis) on a Monday, Thursday and Friday morning. These groups are spaces for the kids and parents/carers to gather together to encourage one another, support each other on their faith journeys, pray for one another and look at the Bible together (amidst the noise and chaos!)
