WE ARE A SURRENDERED PEOPLE
Look back over the week. What has God been speaking to you about surrender? What has He been doing in you? Spend some time praying this would multiply.
WE ARE A SENT PEOPLE
Reflect over what you have learnt about God this week. Share this, or your answer to the section above with someone you know. How did testifying with others go this week? Did anyone respond positively? The end section of John 17 vs 30, explains the purpose of John’s Gospel, “so that people may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” Why not ask them (anyone who responded positively), or others if they would like to read the Gospel of John with you?
In this passage Jesus said (Verse 21-22) 21 “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
Spend some time receiving afresh the Holy Spirit, to be sent ones who share Jesus with the world.
